With Remootio, you can open and close your electric gate or garage door via Bluetooth and via WiFi (local network) and over the Internet (via WiFi).
- Remootio can work purely via Bluetooth even if there is no WiFi signal at your gate or in your garage

Remootio is not cloud based, which means that
- your virtual keys are not stored on a server but on your own Remootio unit and on your smartphone
- Remootio works even if there is no internet connection available.

Keys & Access right management

You can share 20 virtual keys via:
- QR code (your smartphone generates a QR code and the other person scans it using his or her smartphone)
- text message (you can use a platform such as WhatsApp or iMessage to send a message to the person you wish to share a key with)

The access rights of the 20 individual virtual keys can be managed one by one:
- You can set up a virtual key to be valid on certain days of the week and certain times of the day (also ideal for Airbnb)
- You can decide which virtual keys can be used via Bluetooth only (for example you would not like the gardener to open your gate when he or she is not on the spot) and which ones have full access (via WiFi and Internet)
- You can revoke the access rights at any time
- and you can get notifications when a certain virtual key was used to operate your gate.
- There is a so-called guest key, which can be shared with an unlimited number of users, but the access rights of users who have a guest key can only be managed as a group.
Customizable, easy to use app
You can customize the app in many ways:
- You can change the background image or choose a background color
- Name the gate or garage door
- and you can add as many Remootio devices to the same app as you wish
This package includes:
- Remootio 2 device (Bluetooth and Wi-Fi enabled device for controlling and monitoring gates and garage doors via smartphone, Alexa and Google Home)
- Sensor (for detecting if your gate is open or closed)
- Power adapter (5V) (for powering Remootio 2 from a wall socket). Compatible with type C (EU), type G (UK), type I (AU) and type A (US) sockets.
