How is this Smart Switch different? It’s wired in 
LIFX Switch behaves like a normal light switch for normal lights. Except now you can schedule those lights to turn on and off at any time. Or even control them from your app. Or connect them to voice assistants. This also means you can make your extractor fans and towel racks smart.
 
What if I already have LIFX lights? 
Even better! You can do all the above, but never disconnect your lights. So you – and your family or guests - can turn LIFX smart lights off from the Switch without breaking any automations, or preventing control of the lights in any way. Each button can also be set to a scene (eg “movie lights”), or an entire location (eg “All off”).
 
More than just on / off
The LIFX Switch can also be used to control standard lights. A button can control on/off so you can set a schedule or a scene to include the dumb lights.
