Arlo has updated its support webpage with details on what you need to use the wired Arlo Video Doorbell with HomeKit. The company says you’ll need the following base station firmware version or newer:
- VMB5000: 22.214.171.124378e45094
- VMB4540: 126.96.36.1991f7780e1
- VMB4500: 188.8.131.5277
- VMB4000: 184.108.40.20676
Unfortunately, the Arlo Video Doorbell is not adding HomeKit Secure Video support, which would allow recorded video clips to be saved to iCloud directly.
